We have roofage!
The roof is on and we have started the framing for the ceiling boards which will be 4 by 8 sheets of a soft board...better to soften the noise. The outside has been plastered and the fascia brick will start to go on tomorrow. I have a friend from Kampala here helping me do the framing and it is good to swing a hammer again.
We are all well and I am sleeping a bit better. Thanks for all who have been praying!
Jeremy came home with 2 baby cobras that he and his friend had killed...they'll be in the jar with the snake his friend gave him and will most likely be coming home with us...how will we explain that to the customs people?
All for now...blessings, Tom

Just a minute - there is really NO GOOD REASON to be transporting more snakes into this country. I mean really jeremy!! Anders already wants to look at them every time we go to the pet store - how am I ever going to explain snakes in the HOUSE to him???? Julie - help me out here!!! :)

Hey Liz, They are only tiny snakes!! And they are way cool! You should have seen the look on the boys' faces as they brought home the spoils of the hunt! Africa is a good place for 11 year old boys! Maybe you could tell Anders he can only have a snake if you go to Africa! I can hear him now asking "when are we going to Africa?" Julie

Tiny snakes are still snakes! I think that's a good idea - only if he goes to Africa can he even PONDER the thought of a snake in the house. Guess he won't be going on any trips too soon. I would hate to ruin my love of Africa. :)
Tell Jeremy I'm glad he was able to kill the snakes, rather than the snakes "get him."
